Evening workshops are designed to provides attendees with the highest quality photography workshops available without the necessity to move or travel to a larger city to attend a photography school. This is where we exist and where our classes take place. Access to the internet is all you need. We have also designed various workshops to allow for the many interests we have found in our students. The incredible option we offer is that once you sign up for a class or workshop you will be in direct contact with your teacher. Just as in any classroom you have been in, lectures, critiques, one on one Q&A for specific questions, you can see your teacher, converse with other attendees. Workshops are offered in various length of time from 6 to 8 weeks or more and meet either once or twice a week. We proud ourselves on delivering college level courses at an incredible value. Our teachers are professional photographers and experienced teachers and share the same philosophy and love for photography.

We ask all our photography workshop's attendees to take pictures. Yes, you will receive a weekly assignment that you will need to shoot for it. We do understand that people do get busy and sometimes can not find the time to complete their assignment however students will benefit the most when they completely participate in the class. PhotoInstitute.net is dedicated to offering the best online Photography Classes and Workshops at the most reasonable prices. Our focus is to help photographers acquire great skills, built on a foundation of strong technical and visual skills. All of our courses take place in our Virtual Classroom. We try to keep a limited number of participants in order to dedicate our self to each individual.

All our workshops require that attendees take pictures for class assignments. We do believe that you only way to get better is by shooting, learning from your mistakes and successes, not just listening to lectures and demonstrations. Our courses are at a college level without the expense. We do believe that you will leave anyone of our workshop a better photographer. That is our goal and we know we have achieve it for everyone of our students.

We offer photography workshops on The Personal Vision, Documentary Photography, Photojournalism and an intro to Editorial Portraiture. Beginner workshop include Beginning Digital Camera as well as a Landscape Photography workshop.

PhotoInstitute.net uses the newest technology to deliver the best Photography Workshops and Classes online. Our goal is to help each and everyone of our members and students become better photographers. The way it works is pretty simple:

• Sign up for a class, workshop or free class.
• You will receive a confirmation email with a link to our classroom.
• On the day of the event, click on the link in the email.
• You will be forwarded to a sign up page.
• You may have to call if enrolled in a workshop or class.
• In our Virtual Classroom you will be welcomed by the teacher.
• From there you will be in an actual classroom.
• We do not just provide text for you to read.
• Our teacher will run the class just as in an actual classroom.
• Lectures and critiques happen in "real-time".
• You can see, hear and speak to the the teacher.
• Share your opinion about the other student's work.
• Listen to their point of view about your photographs.
• Get to know photographers from all over the world.
• Become a part of a community of photography lovers.

So much information on photography is now about Photoshop. Everyone wants you to teach Photoshop and forget to teach you how to take better pictures.

Our team easily combines the technical and visual aspect of photography. However we know that it does not matter how good a digital technician you are if you can not take a great photograph! Our goal is to get you to become better photographers and at the same time master the technical side to help you express your vision.

Foundation Level:
Foundation level photography classes and workshops are geared toward the Beginner Photographer. Very little or no photography skills are required. "Intro to Photography", “The Camera", “How to Take Better Pictures”, “Intro to Composition”, “Basic Understanding of the Light”, “Intro to Artificial Lighting” are examples of beginner level subject matter.

Intermediate Level:
Intermediate photography level classes and workshops are geared toward the Intermediate photographer. This level covers a wide range of skills. You should have a basic understanding of Photography, Exposure, Camera Functions, and some understanding of artificial lighting. Introduction to Photoshop or other image editing at a basic level is required.

Advanced Level:
Advanced Level photography Classes and Workshops are geared toward the photographer that may be fluent in Photography with excellent knowledge of all camera function, Tungsten lights and/or Flash. The Advanced level student should be very comfortable using digital Cameras and Photoshop.
