• Mastering Selections with Photoshop
Mastering Selections in Photoshop is a complicated process. On top of that, there are so many ways to do the same thing when using Photoshop, it gets really confusing . Our workshop will educate you in the art of creating selections and composite images in a very clear and concise manner. Our online Classroom is the perfect environment and all our teachers are expert in their fields.
Our 10 Week online photography workshop covers all the fundamentals needed for the proper understanding of digital composite and multi-layered images. The Course is designed to explore and master how to use selections in Photoshop. The workshop also includes a free weekly support class in our Virtual Classroom, with a teacher to respond to your question and to provide help.
The course will cover:
- Photoshop I: Intro to the various selection tools, Advanced layer masks.
- Photoshop II: Magic Wand, Lasso, Quick Mask, Refine Edge
- Photoshop III: Intro to the Pen Tool, Color Range,
- Photoshop IV: Pen Tool; Review and Test
- Photoshop V: Creating texture using brushes
- Photoshop VI: Composite and Blending modes
- Photoshop VII: Using Plugins to enhance Photographs
- Photoshop VIII: Project: create a multiple layer images
- Photoshop IX: Photo Project
- Photoshop VX: Final Review Presentation of Project
Requirements:
Computer with access to Photoshop CS4 or CS5, access to the internet. Access to photographs
Participation in this class grants you access to our open classroom for support and review for free. (View Calendar for schedule)
