Beyond Reality, the subject of our March 5th, 2011, Photo Safari, will be an exploration into our reality and what happens when we go beyond it, to discover new worlds of color shapes and patterns. Confused? View our short movie lesson "Intro to Abstract in Photography". PhotoInstitute.net recently held a class during which students were given such an assignments. The results were visually stunning (see the photograph to the left), but above all, the students, as we had hoped, had embraced the experience of loosing control, exploring, discovering and creating beautiful photographs. We thought we would attempt to do this on a worldwide scale and see the results.
